DKUN Frost
Against All Odds

DKUN Frost brings a message that is raw and uncut, going against the grain and challenging the church on Against All Odds. The emcee enlists the help of Beat City (who produced most of the CD), Mista Marko, Todd Collins, Sandman, Tony Stone and Son of Mack.

CD"The Right Reasons", produced by Mista Marko, is Dkun's straight talk at those preachers who focus on status rather than ministry. Houston's Excelsius steps in and gives his two cents. Beat City lays a nice percussion heavy track for "I'm A Say It", and Dkun Frost spits about speaking the Word and reaching the lost regardless of his critics and those who don’t believe in what he's doing.

Dkun and his producers made sure that there were plenty of bangers on this one. "Not Ashamed" calls on believers to preach the Gospel and not hold back. It’s an infectious cut complete with the piano samples and a nice boom bip courtesy of Beat City. You can hear the passion and the conviction of Frost on "No Apologies", a midtempo, guitar-sampled jam that he uses to give his own testimony of going from an abused child to one that God has called to reach this generation.

Tony Stone adds his Midas touch to "Hallelu-YEAH", a summer praise anthem that showcases Frost as praise party leader. "I Like It" is another song to get the crowd hype. It must be said, however, that the mixing on this song and a couple of others takes something away from their spice.

Rest assured that while DKUN Frost is challenging and calling out those who are deceiving the body of Christ, he also lifts up Christ and edifies the believers. And he does it Against All Odds.
