James Daniels
We Need You Now

CD With a genuine desire to reach America's youth, James Daniels enters the picture with his debut project titled We Need You Now.

This twelve-tracker features Daniels writing and producing the entire effort (hear audio). To create the project, Daniels states that he "sought out the ear of youth" of his church to uncover the sounds that appeal to them. The end result is an effort that spans a number of musical styles, from ballads to hip-hop, and wraps it with the message of Christ in a youth-infused package.

While Daniels is primarily a vocalist with a self-acknowledged old school appeal, he also digs deep and rhymes on occasion on this project. He partners with female emcee Kyana on the head noddin' "God Can Handle It".

James Daniels The New 1 adds his creative lyrical flow to the jungle-infused "The Message". He teams primarily with DC based emcee Ason (see album review), who appears on four tracks, including "U've Been Forgiven" and the title track.

Daniels' musical presentations spawn the gamut of diversity, ranging from the techno infused worship track "Oh How We Welcome You" to the dirty south bounce of "Tell Me Are You Scared". The end product is a genuine effort that seeks to bridge the gap between generations with the global message of a people's real need for a tangible God.
