RAS
The Buzz Word

RAS, aka Lil' Raskull, knows a thing a two about longevity. He's been rapping and recording since 1995 —a feat that many mainstream rappers have not accomplished.

CDHe's back with more of that southern funk, signature flow and straight up approach in his latest release, The Buzz Word, released independently. Uncle Boudreaux handles the bulk of the production.

Storytelling has always been an evident strength of RAS's and this holds true with the rock-tinged, autobiographical "He's Watching Me" set to the 70's influenced , chilled out gem, "Brother's Keeper".

"Do Dem" is an infectious jam that has RAS trying his hand in a little dancehall, while he speaks of the joy of living for God.

"He Aint Finished" is a head-nodder with a simple but potent boom bip. RAS shares the process that God has taken him through over the years, and testfieis that he knows God has more for him to do. The rapper's swagger is evident on the Draathoven-produced "Blow Tha Whistle".

RAS's flow is plain sick on "Too Much" and Uncle Boudreaux lays an equally ill beat; the mix of both will cause many to offer thanks to God for putting them together.

Get ready to snap, and those living in Texas will feel pride for the Lone Star state with the anthem, "Keep Movin". "Lift Him Up" is an R&P groove that reveals the reason this project came to be.

The Buzz Word packs a powerful punch and it is obvious that RAS is far from being done. He has too much talent and too many people to reach.
