The Songs 4 Worship series from Time Life has been a staple for years, providing fans with a handy means of bringing their favorite worship songs together.

Now with Songs 4 Worship: Gospel: Friend of God, the series expands to deliver a set of some of the most beloved vertically-directed music from the Gospel world.

With its title, there's no surprise that Israel & New Breed's smash "Friend of God" paves the way on this set. It's surrounded by companion pieces from Martha Munizzi ("Because of Who You Are") and Tye Tribbett ("Mighty Long Way").

Also in the mix are covers from popular artists such as Marvin Sapp ("Above All") and Donnie McClurkin (singing Michael W. Smith's popular anthem, "Agnus Dei"), plus CeCe Winans taking on "How Great Thou Art".

With contributions from The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir (Byron Cage out front on "Days Of Elijah") to Keith Staten, and Bishop T.D. Jakes to Kirk Franklin, this set stands out, and is one to cherish.
