SYD has been around for a few years, but to many this member of La Familia Muzick will seem like a rookie. With his versatile release The Hunger's Back, SYD aims to show the world that he is here to stay and is better than ever. The project features hot dance tracks, as well as something for the lovers of Hip Hop, and is kissed with a Latin touch —all for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

"Son Of Man" aims to bring the Truth to hurting areas in America and around the world. The staccato beat carries the music with a subtle rhythm guitar and violin loop throughout. SYD brings a Dirty South edge on "Vet" with a chopped and screwed sample to round out the chorus.

"The New Fastness" is a dance track that could go from the club to "America's Best Dance Crew" with a mass appeal that doesn't forsake SYD's focus on preaching the Gospel. The party continues with "It's Like Whoa" featuring Promises and SYD's bilingual labelmate Carlito P who, of course, spits his bars in Spanish.

Lead single, "Gon For A Minute" shows that SYD can offer a banger for the Hip Hop heads. The necessity of actually going into the streets to reach lost souls is the focus of "Don't Look Down". Eshon Bullock steps in with his swag and continues to express the sentiment that there needs to be more done to reach people in the roughest of places and show love, not just talk about it.

Ryan Horton guests on "Holy Ghost", which is an unexpected yet genuine worship track.. The skillfully written "Life After Death" has an alternative Rock vibe. "Shots" featuring Pastor Tommy aka Urban D and the emerging Tony Stone is another track to stop and take notes on.
