  The Live Experience Mann pulls from the diverse array of material she offered on her 2005 release, and reworks it into a fabulously rendered recording, recorded with special guests at Calvary Church in Irving, Texas.  The joint CD/DVD project is comprised of twelve cuts, with featured accompaniment from Myron Butler & Levi, and production from Mann, husband David Mann and Derrick Wade.Infused with all the energy that a live performance will bring, the project nevertheless stays within the parameters of the studio set, with respect to its contemporary format, tied to strong traditional Gospel influences. Look for the title cut, “Speak Lord”, “Alright” and a strong selection of praise choruses (“You Deserve My Praise”, “Praise Medley”, “Safety In His Arms”), among others to keep this CD in your player for a long time. The duet “Trust Him”, featuring Darryl Blair, is also notable. Accompany the audio disc is the concert DVD, the perfect visual complement to the recording. Featuring nicely filmed footage of the extravagantly staged production, along with extra features such as behind-the-scenes glimpses and a humorous roving interview montage by David Mann, the second disc is pure bonus. If you’re not one to let a good thing pass you by, no doubt you’re already all over this project. For the rest, there’s no point in waiting. Check it out.
