Live in Concert, The CD and Video

Kim Burrell's Live Recording
November 2000

November 12, 2000 saw Kim Burrell deliver live ministry, recorded by Tommy Boy Gospel for her upcoming live concert CD, scheduled for release in the early spring of 2001.

The venue was the Bountiful Blessing COGIC in Memphis, Tennessee, and the congregation was filled with nearly 5000 people, including names such as Kurt Carr, Ricky Dillard, Donald Lawrence and Carl Thomas. Opening selections were given by Tommy Boy Gospel artist Desmond Pringle.

Backed by an eight-piece band and five background singers (including Church Howse Music artists Melonie Daniels and Sherri Jones), Kim soon took the spotlight, and offered a variety of new material, including some new interpretations of her familiar hits.
