LFT Church Choir
Love Is Live!

Love Is Live CDThe Love Fellowship Tabernacle Church Choir is back in full force with Love is Live - At the Love Fellowship Tabernacle. A second time around for Hezekiah Walker's other crew brings that familiar energy with a combination of the contemporary and traditional; a tight package straight from the church but with current flows and prime production.

On this one, Walker brings together the many contingencies of the Love Fellowship Tabernacle Church, knowing that everyone has something to offer. The kids (The Shekinah Choir), join in on the Caribbean influenced "Let Go, Let God". And the seniors (The Rhema Choir) lend a hand on "Lord Lift Me Up" and James Cleveland's "Lord Do It". Minister Kirvy Brown makes his trademark presence known on both, blowing the roof off as per usual!

The first single release, "I'm a Newborn Soul" is a quick-tempoed groove with plenty of choir hooks, penned by Butch Heyward. And "The Praise Break (The Ma-shon-da!)" will delight churchgoers of all types. The musicians get to stretch out on a straight seven-plus minutes of shout music that will take you in, if you're not already there.

On the smokin' side is the sure chartbuster, "The Battle". With a drive flashback from some Teddy Riley new jack swing, and LFT's vocals marching on top, it makes an old flava hot and new.

A well-rounded project that will delight old fans and gather new ones around, LFT serves it up grand fashion the only way Brooklyn knows how. Smashing the sophomore jinx with more Jesus, and making their own way, LFT has carved a place of their own where love is all the way...live!
