Beverly Crawford
Live From Los Angeles: Vol. 2

Whether as part of Bobby Jones & New Life or as a solo artist, Beverly Crawford has been a staple in the gospel music scene since the 1980's, making her mark with accessible lyrics and passionate vocal delivery.

After winning the 2009 Stellar Award as Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year, Crawford returns with her sixth solo album titled Live From Los Angeles: Vol. 2, from the powerhouse traditional independent label, JDI Records.

CD As the album's title alludes to, this project is the sequel to Crawford's wildly successful Live From Los Angeles release which produced the top 5 hit "He's Done Enough".

Recorded at the Faithful Central Church, Crawford revisits the same formula that worked for the album's predecessor. Backed by Tim "Bishop" Brown and the Miracle Mass Choir, Crawford sets the stage for a memorable and exciting presentation.

The lead single "It's About Time For a Miracle" sets the tone for a fantastic music experience, as the song takes you straight to Sunday morning church. It's an infectious number worthy of multiple spins on your iPod.

Crawford keeps the energetic church vibe going with tracks such as "Born Again". Shirley Murdock then joins Crawford for the funky "Everything Will Be Alright", a sure-fire favorite-to-be for church choirs nationwide.

Murdock also joins Crawford for a cover of "Marvelous", penned by Myron Butler and Ted Winn. First released with Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter's House Mass Choir, Crawford, Murdock, and friends provide a worthy rendition of this choir classic.

Ballads and worship songs work very well for Crawford and will quickly resonate with listeners. "It's So", penned by Tim "Bishop" Brown is bound to be a quick favorite. The same can be said for the simple yet powerful "For Who You Are", a worship tune penned by Crawford during a Sunday morning worship service.

Crawford introduces the world to her daughter Trina Crawford, who lends her vocals to the acoustic guitar driven "I Need A Word". Trina also adds a totally new flair to "Radical Praise", which takes Pastor Crawford in a new urban direction that translates with authenticity.

Call this eleven-track album one that continues to cement her legacy as a prime-time player in Gospel. Live From Los Angeles: Vol. 2 does not disappoint and will be a favorite for those who love Beverly Crawford and also for those new to her artistry.
