Verity Gospel Greats Series
Encompassing the best material from perhaps the finest gathering of gospel artists to be found since gospelís golden age, the six-CD (so far) Gospel Greats series from Verity Records is a treasure trove.ó

Thematically grouped, and with contributions from John P. Kee to Fred Hammond, from Yolanda Adams to Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, from Hezekiah Walker to The Canton Spirituals, you canít ask for more. Itís simply great Gospel from Gospel greats.
It doesnít hurt that the Verity has one of the deepest rosters of active artists to draw on. Plus the rights to a wealth of material from artists previously with the Gospel giant.
Standing at six volumes and ready to burgeon into more later in 2001, each album brings together diversity from the new school sounds of Tonéx to the old school quartet vibe of The Canton Spirituals.
Each full length project brings out a theme, tying together tracks linked by virtue of their subject matter (Vols. 3 and 6, Praise & Worship), their recording method (Vol 1, Gospel Greats Live), or grouped by gender classification (Men, Vol 4; Women, Vol 5).
Below is a list of the series to date.
Volume 1: Live Collection
Volume 2: Verity Gospel Greats
Volume 3: Praise & Worship
Volume 4: Men of Gospel
Volume 5: Women of Gospel
Volume 6: Praise & Worship
