Outta Space Love
The group returns with Outta Space Love, a collection of electro pop/urban and techno. Their message is a little more subtle as they set out to reach a broader audience. This is evident by an appearance on the Monique Show and having their song "Breakdown" being heard on "So You Think You Can Dance". Outta Space Love certainly has songs that can breakthrough to the mainstream audience.
"Manipulation" is a fierce dance song that B-boys and dance teams will have a field day with, while the jumping title track points people to the love of Christ. The timeless Toby Mac compliments Blanca on "Let's Go", a mid tempo inspirational ditty that serves to jump start those who are stuck in rut. Both Manwell and Pablo add their signature rap for song that is sure to get a few spins on CCM radio as well as other formats.
"Walking On Stars", produced by Andy Anderson, holds fast to the futuristic theme with worship that is intergalactic. The fellas do their share of singing as Blanca passionately takes the chorus and sings praises to God.
The bonus track, "Take It There" is a funky head banger which will satisfy those who like to hear the crew do more rapping. Turn on "Live It Up" and go for a drive or work out and go running with it on repeat. This song will get you hyped and have you wanting to do just that, "Live It Up"!
Do not sleep on Group 1 Crew! They have a vision to bring a different element to the mainstream music and that is Jesus Christ. Buy it for your friends who love music like Black Eyed Peas, Ke$hia, Lady Gaga, etc. They will be in for quite a nice surprise.
