Mr. Del Presents Holy South Worldwide The former Three 6 Mafia member has embarked on a holy crusade that has borne the fruit of saved souls and a fledging record label, while revolutionizing the sound of Holy Hip Hop. With four albums under his belt and a new distribution deal, Mr. Del is back with a compilation project that takes the Holy South label to the world as he presents Worldwide. This sixteen track project features the best of Mr. Del along with some blazin' newcomers who are being unleashed to the world plus some seasoned vets to boot. The artist headliner takes the production responsibilities on this project and does a stellar job presenting some of Holy South's finest. Things kick off with the bumpin' title track, "Worldwide",featuring the newest female clique of emcees, known as W.O.G. The track brings nothing but fire! W.O.G.'s flow is exciting, energetic and will make you anticipate their ensuing 31 Flava release on the label. W.O.G’s influence continues on "Take It To Da Streetz", which takes an old school Earth, Wind, and Fire sample and blesses it with that Holy South flava that's guaranteed to be a summer jam. W.O.G joins Mr. Del on this track and proves that this combination is deadly to the enemy as they effectively take the message of Christ to the streets. This tag team bounces some more on "H'z Up", cementing a level of holy crunk that could easily put Lil' Jon and his Eastside Boyz out of business and will keep you excited about this message going worldwide. Canton Jones joins the party on "Bind-N-Loose", teaming with Mr. Del to bind and loose some things on earth and partner with heaven in agreement. Euclid Gray, formerly of Public Announcement, represents the Chicago Step movement with the R&B flavored "Step On". You've got to check out Willie Will who steals the show with "ABC". With a conceptual resemblence to KJ-52's "ABCs & 123s", Will explores every letter of the alphabet and effectively rhymes utilizing each letter. It'll test your knowledge of the alphabet while giving you an amazing appreciation for his skills. The star power jumps to another level as Out of Eden's Lisa Kimmey steps up to the plate to team with Mr. Del on "Talk About Love". Lending her sweet vocals to the verses and hook of this track, Kimmey's addition smooths out a slick track that has a percussive feel reminiscent of Alicia Keys' "Little Drummer Girl" (found on So So Def's 12 Soulful Nights of Christmas). You'll be feelin' this one for a while.
Mr. Del adds several classics from other projects including "Da Truth". This slick groove reminds us to speak the truth in an uncompromising way. Wrestling fans will fo’ sure appreciate the re-release of "Holy Ghost Soldier". Sampling the entrance theme to former WCW & WWE champion Bill Goldberg, Mr. Del takes creativity to a new level as he adds that mid-south flava to this popular sports theme while encouraging all Holy Ghost soldiers to step to the front lines of battle and take authority over the enemy. Worldwide, as is adequately evidenced by its cover art, is full of fire. With worldwide distribution courtesy of the Butterfly Distribution Group, the earth will now know what could arguably be holy hip hop's best kept secret. Mr. Del is ready to take Holy South to the world and the world is ready for Holy South.
