T.H.I.S CLICK
Certified Street Bangers - Underground of Underground

Mixtapes are very popular, no doubt about that. In Gospel of late, DJ Allstar, DJ Maj, Frankie Cutlass and Breeveeasie are just a few who have put out these in-demand sets.

CDHailing from Cincinnati Ohio, T.H.I.S. CLICK drop Certified Street Bangers - Underground of Underground, with a definite Midwest/Dirty South sound.

The crew start things off with "Something Nu N Tha Game", a posse cut that tells of their mission. K-Drama, the leader of the click, assures the listener that he will not be moved by the opinion of man on "I Don't Care" (see interview).

One particular standout is the title track. The cut changes for each emcee in order to fit their style. There is the slow synth-filled vibe for, K-Drama, the sample-heavy banger for the Theory Haz It, and the midtempo bump for Lesun. Get ready to burn up the repeat button as the marriage of three distinct rhyming styles and beats is a beautiful one.

T.H.I.S CLICK show that they can flow smoothly into another style. "Love Letter" an R&P jam, has Kurrect and Messenger expressing their sincere love for Jesus.

New Yorker Sean Slaughter guests on "What I Stand For". Slaughter spits so comfortably over the dirty south track that one would wonder if he's really born and raised in New York.

T.H.I.S. CLICKMixtapes would not be complete without a few freestyles. Mr Trust, K-Drama and Kurrect all showcase their skills on separate tracks.

The "Altar Call" is the most compelling song on the album. K-Drama, Dre Murray and Jay Tha Kid all honestly make a plea for God to come into their lives as they surrender all. There is also a call to salvation that assures that the Certified Street Bangers are serious about winning souls to Christ.

Other standouts are "Crystal Stair", "Sleepin N Yo Dreams", and "Be Successful".

Certified Street Bangers - Underground of the Underground is a mixtape full of fun, rhyming and most of all, ministry, from this group of Cincinnati young people.
