Communion Service: Elder Willie James Campbell, Yolanda Adams...
Sunday morning started at the Convention Center with the Annual Communion and Consecration Service, with this year's color theme being white with red accessories. Elder Willie James Campbell of St. James COGIC, Chicago, delivered the sermon, preaching from the Word, and encouraging and and reminding everyone that in the new life in Jesus Christ, we are coming out that life is better. Yolanda Adams delivered the sermonic solo, not letting the fact that the track to her song failed near the beginning. She simply switched to an acappella version of "I Surrender All". The Kansas City Chapter, the Thurston Frazier Memorial Chorale and The James Cleveland Chorus also delivered musical ministry.

So with Karen going to Warner Bros Christian, what becomes of Yolanda? Is she still with Elektra? And if so, why are they letting Karen go and keeping Yolanda?
Is Rickey Dillard still the Minister of Music at Elder Campbell's church. That must be some church choir. I wonder when are they going to record.
and speaking of Campbells' What is the word on Elder Campbell's sister in law, Lawanda? THe buzz was that she did a session in Chicago some time ago. I think it was independent.
So Yolanda's tracks messed up? How was this acapella version song she performed? Maybe I should have been there to find out myself. I know... I know...
Yolanda was truly wonderful! It was such a blessing to see an artist still in tune with her God given anointing and be able to flow in the spirit. Nothing fancy just pure Yolanda and Jesus. The Songs of Solomon a group of young people from NYC also sang at the communion service and at a number of other events. They too were refreshing to see and to listen to. Not many young people there age(it's a non collegiate choir)appreciate the type of religious music that they rendered at the workshop
Be Blessed!
