The Grammy AwardThe 50th Annual Grammy Award nominations were announced on December 6, 2007. The ceremonies will be broadcast live on CBS Television from Los Angeles on February 10, 2008.

In brief, eligibility is limited to those recordings released during the period of October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007.

    The Soweto Gospel Choir was nominated in the Best Traditional World Music category, for their album, African Spirit.
