Applejaxx works as both a youth pastor and emcee, and is back with his mixtape Databass, a CD chock full of dope beats that brings the Gospel into the "mainframe" of the world. His skills as an emcee have come up, and he enlists help from his Fadacy cohorts, Tonéx, Nelly B and others.

On, "The Answer" Applejaxx brings the heat over a sweet Doc Watson banger, plainly explaining that Christ is the "peace" that people are searching for. Fadacy labelmate, Mr. Coldstone, spits in the perspective of Christ reiterating why to look no further than Himself.

Gibraan is the perfect rapper to bring the metaphors and abstract flow to an equally metaphoric "Red Hacker". You may have to listen to it more than once, but it becomes obvious that Jesus is the "red hacker" whose message the fellas are bringing into the world. Listen to this one over and again to let the message soak in.

Producer and singer JR lends a hand on the project, and Omega and Brison show support by lacing select cuts ("Barcode") with their lyrical prowess. "SupaStarz" is a hot one admonishing Christian artists to focus on making Jesus the "star" and stop trying to be so "Hollywood". Nuncio guests here and also produces.

"Hustlin" is a highlight as Soul P drops in to deliver 16 bars of sure-fire lyricism. Tonéx's vocals in the chorus of "Apple Drops", is just enough to highlight the song, with his innovative production talent making the song drip with hotness.

Applejaxx is like no other artist, secular or sacred, and he brings the message of Christ both metaphorically and also straightforwardly. With an ear to hear past the metaphors, every listener will be pleased with Databass.
