  Under The Influence  With Under The Influence, Jacobs' first solo release, he steers his ship into Gospel waters, charting a course of praise that moves through originals in quiet storm fashion, using his electric and acoustic guitar skills to fashion his expression.Look for cuts such as "Chasing The Dawn" and "Serve You" (featuring vocalist Allen Sims) to impress with their combination of melody and groove. On "Now Faith", vocalist Stephanie Coats wraps her alto pipes around the mid-tempo melody as Jacobs and band weave instrumental intricacies in and out. Samantha Cole takes the mic on "Take Me Away", an uplifting ode that lyrically reflects God's care for us. Other notable songs include "Streets of Gold" and "Living Water". Don't sleep on this gem.
