![]() I-66 Entertainment Presents: Street Sweepers
The Street Sweepers are a three-man East Coast infantry armed with heavy hip-hop artillery, and they’re taking it to the street. The truth or lie When it comes down to Christ It's do or die... from "Truth or Lie" Other noted pieces on the album are "Face It", with its lacing of hypnotic flute undertow and "Sorrow and Pain", which grabs you by way of cascading piano chords. The "shock" of the album is the title cut, "Street Sweepers". It sums up the entire purpose and war plan of the album with edgy lyrics and street-wise production with timpanic rhythms gone haywire. Callin' your bluff And everybody's gettin' touched Every religion is being rushed Y'all better open up your eyes Son and recognize Get ready... from "Street Sweepers" Other hot tracks are the admonishing “Infected” and the equally warning-filled “Separate”. With each member of the entourage currently working on solo joints, the promise is heavy for more of the same, and soon. More hip hop missiles like this are most welcome.
