![]() ![]() Together in Worship ![]() Recorded live at Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Florida (Haddon's home church), VOU deliver a 13-track gem that expands on the worship vibe first seen on the Chainbreaker album in 1999 (read video review). For this session, Haddon and VOU enlist some of the industry's greatest worship leaders to embark on a journey steeped in extreme worship. William Murphy III takes the lead with the mid-tempo "We Worship You", while newcomer Javen joins the session with "You Are God". The exciting lead appearances continue with Shirley Murdock on the funky "My Father's House" and Darwin Hobbs on the pop-infused "He's Able", which is a crowd pleaser. Longtime VOU member Damita Haddon brings her memorable vocals to "It All Belongs to You" and the infectious "Watch Me Praise Him". Yet, it's Deitrick Haddon's sheer comfort in a worship setting that serves as the album's memorable takeaway. While many are accustomed to Haddon's urban studio presentations, this offering showcases Haddon's heart as a worshipper. Check out the a cappella "Take Rest In Me", which showcases both Haddon's heart and VOU's stellar vocals. Combining star power with the power of worship, Haddon and VOU have another hit on their hands with Together In Worship. [Editor's note: don't forget to check out the DVD too!]
