The Grammy AwardThe 45th Annual Grammy Award nominations were announced on January 7, 2003 from the show's venue, Madison Square Garden in New York. The ceremonies will be broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003 and will be shown live on CBS.

In brief, eligibility is limited to those recordings released during the period of October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002.

      CDAlso, GRITS was nominated in the Best Rock Gospel Album category for their Art of Translation project, together with Toby Mac's Momentum album —both of them hip-hop projects.
